Diversified Adjustments

A diversified adjustment is a common chiropractic technique that uses a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust to manipulate the spine and other joints, with the goal of restoring mobility and reducing pain. It is the most widely used technique, and the characteristic “popping” sound is caused by the release of gas from the joint. This hands-on method is used for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, and headaches.

Flexion Distraction

The flexion-distraction technique is a gentle, non-surgical chiropractic treatment that uses a specialized table to relieve pain and decompress the spine. During a session, the patient lies face down on a segmented table. The chiropractor manually guides the motion of the table’s movable sections while applying gentle, targeted pressure to the spine. It is often used for conditions affecting the lumbar spine (lower back), but can also be applied to the cervical spine (neck).

Y-Strap

A chiropractic technique where a Y-shaped tool is used to apply gentle, controlled traction to the spine to decompress the vertebrae, improve posture, and relieve pain. The process involves securing the strap around the head and back of the neck, then applying a pulling force (which can be slow or a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust) to elongate the spine. This action creates a vacuum within the discs, allowing nutrients to flow in

Intersegmental Traction Table

These tables are designed for spinal stretching and motion to break up adhesions and restore movement. Spinalator tables utilize rollers to massage spinal muscles, used before or after adjustments. This therapy can relieve back pain, improve spinal alignment, and increase circulation.

Myofascial Release

Manual therapy which is a hands on technique that involves bringing the thumb through damaged/injured tissues allowing blood flow and healing to the area. This technique not only treats the muscles and surrounding areas; but also treats the fascia of the body a spiderlike tissue that plays a crucial role in maintaining body structure, providing flexibility, and facilitating movement. Patients can improve from long standing injuries/issues that have been affecting them for even years in just a few treatments. In a typical treatment the area of complaint will be determined, a plan of action will be discussed, and then the area will be treated from muscle origin to insertion(split up into different visits).
